Women We Admire released its list of 2024’s Top Women Leaders in Michigan and the recycled materials industry’s Kari Bliss was listed along with titans from other industries including automotive and healthcare.

This recognition reflects the dedication and support of my team and the industry as a whole, as we strive to create a greener, more sustainable future.”
Bliss is the principal of sustainability at PADNOS, and has over two decades of experience in the industry. Her expertise in recycled materials has allowed her to capitalize on circular economy market trends. Her team developed 36 solutions for complex circular economy challenges faced by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers.

Bliss has been very active with ReMA, having been a member of ReMA’s Sustainability Network, Market Access Working Group and ReMA’s Brand Leadership Council. She has also presented at various recycled materials conferences on a variety of topics, most recently having spoken at ISRI2024. Bliss is also a GreenBiz Certified Professional and a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, a board member of the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum and the treasurer of the Society of Plastic Engineers Recycling Division.
