On Thursday Aug. 1, Manitoba Corporation, a fifth-generation nonferrous metals recycler based in Lancaster, NY and St. Louis, MO, announced a new freight management software, Freight130.
The new software management solution represents three years of dedicated development aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing communication across the logistics spectrum.
“Freight130 is a web-based application designed to centralize and optimize logistics management for recyclers, manufacturers, traders and beyond,” said Sam Shine, co-founder and CEO of Freight130. “Our system was designed to enhance logistics management by consolidating all shipments, bids, documents, vendor details, and asset information into a centralized repository.”
Adam Shine, co-founder and president of Freight130, underscored the software’s universal appeal. “Starting from a recognized need within our own operations, we engaged industry peers and swiftly realized its broader potential” he said. “After a year of internal use, we are thrilled to extend its benefits to a wider audience.”
Freight130 will showcase its capabilities at the Scrap Expo from Sept. 17-18 in Louisville, KY.
“Freight130 enables comprehensive logistics oversight, from bid management to shipment assignment and detailed freight spend analytics,” said Brian Shine, CEO of Manitoba. It has consistently saved us valuable time and resources.”
