State of the Industry: Economic Outlook and Impact Study with Presentation of the ISRI Design for Recycling Award, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

During the State of the Industry session, economic forecasters will discuss a variety of topics. Attendees will also get access to advanced results of the 2021 U.S. Scrap Industry Economic Impact Study prepared by John Dunham & Associates. ISRI will present its annual ISRI Design for Recycling® Award during this session.

Get to Know Scrap Theft Alert, 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. EDT

Brady Mills, ISRI’s director of law enforcement, will discuss some of the key features of Scrap Theft Alert, and talk about ways companies can work proactively with local law enforcement.

ISRI’s Superfund Recycling Equity Act (SREA) Compliance Program is a benefit that helps recyclers with defense of a Superfund liability claim by showing they took reasonable care. This session will offer you an opportunity to learn more about SREA from ISRI staff and volunteers.

Meet & Greet with ISRI Safety Team, 2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. EDT

Take some time to chat with ISRI’s Safety Team about ISRI’s safety training opportunities and ask questions you may have encountered at your facility.

Plastics Spotlight, 2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. EDT

Major pressures continue to influence plastic recycler operations. This session will break down and address these pressures and their effects on plastic recyclers.

Policy + Community Engagement = Business Value, 4:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. EDT

Getting involved in the local community and with the policymakers whose decisions impact business are key for companies looking to stand out. Civic engagement and making a difference in the community translate into business success. During this session, ISRI Chair Gary Champlin will sit down with Kansas state Sen. Elaine Bowers for an open discussion about the importance of community engagement.

BarNone Trivia Night, 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. EDT
